Eva Halaxová concentrates on litigations and intellectual property rights enforcement, representation of clients incourts in the proceedings on unfair competition and law enforcement. In the field of the protection of inventions and technical solutions, she focuses on the foreign protection of intellectual property, especially on European patent and international patent applications.
Eva Halaxová studied Biophysics and Chemical Physics at Palacký University Olomouc, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Law. Furthermore, she passed successfully the master study program International Relations in Industrial Property at Metropolitan University Prague. In addition to the above-mentioned science and legal academic education, she successfully passed a two-year specialization course at the Industrial Property Training Institute of the Industrial Property Office in Prague, a two-year course of the European Patent Law at the Centre for International Industrial Property Studies (C.E.I.P.I.) of the Robert Schumann University in Budapest, professional training of the European Patent Office in Munich, and specialized internship at LCS, Vancouver, Canada. She takes part regularly in international conferences and educational seminars in the field of intellectual property.
Eva Halaxová is a member of the Council of the European Patent Organisation (EPO). She designed the educational system for the Czech Republic in cooperation with EPO with in the European Patent Convention Revision project. Eva Halaxová is a member of international professional organizations such as AIPPI, LES, INTA and FICPI. She works in the English language and communicates in German and Spanish.
